Applications are now open for Spring 2023. Applications are due by Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Click the button below to apply for a BAP micro-grant!

Funds for Spring projects will be distributed by May 2023. Please check back for more updates about the Spring application deadline.

Individuals may only receive one grant per academic year.

BAP grants may not be used to cover transportation or personal expenses.

BAP will not fund duplicate projects or organizations within the same academic year. (For example, if multiple people propose different projects for the same organization, only one will be chosen.)

If you receive a grant, you will be required to submit a report on your charitable project.

If you receive a grant, you must notify the BAP team of any changes to your project.


Projects are rated on a scale of 1-5 for each of the following criteria:

  • Innovative

  • Time Specific

  • High Impact

  • Sustainable

  • Compatible with the applicant's personal skills/resources



After the application deadline passes, we review all grant applications simultaneously. You will receive a notification about the outcome of your application within a few weeks of the deadline.

If your grant was not accepted, we will give you suggestions to help improve your idea for the next application period.


If you are accepted to receive a micro-grant, you will need to fill out and submit tax forms by the deadline provided in the acceptance email. A W-9  is required for citizens of the United States and a W-8BEN is required for non-citizens. We require a physical signature (no digital signatures). Please send all completed forms to

If you do not submit the above forms and/or you do not include a legitimate signature before the specified deadline, we will be unable to award you a grant.
